SPRUNG!

I'm out! I guess it only felt like a year, but the hospital let me out yesterday! My left foot still hurts like hell, and is swollen, but, it's already better today. The doc said to walk on it, like I have much of a choice in Gimp House. Also have some antibiotic pills to take for the next 4 days, and some lovely new purple bruises from where the nasty Soviet type doctor stuck me. But more on that later. I have to go to the clinic and get the prescription translated from 'hospital' to 'clinic' so I can buy them at the clinic pharmacy.
I have so much to write about that I feel ready to burst! I'll do it a bit at a time, starting at the end. There's still lots to write about the trip, and pictures to post.
Oh, it is wonderful to be home.

Lucy,
I'm startin' ta wonder 'bout your sanity. That was quite an undertaking. I hope your message got out and that people took notice.

Craw,
Sanity and my name are rarely used in the same the sentence! It was quite a trip and we are now working on plans to continue to harrass the gov't types from up here. One thing for sure is that the next time we warn them that we plan to do something, they will believe us!
And yes, it was well worth what I'm going through with my foot.

sheesh , looking for sympathy again!! :-))) OK so hit me!
hey, glad you are home and safe. don't suppose it would do any good to tell you to take care of yourself and be careful!!
Looking forward to the "book" on the trip. That might be an idea!!
How about it?

Marge! Hardly looking for sympathy. Keep it up and I'll post a picture of my foot as it was in the E.R. without a squik alert!
What is it with you and me writing a book? Isn't it bad enough that I'm head over heels with a communist? And a married one at that?

That was me, Nee in the above comment...you changed blogs or am I a dummy.:)

Nee,
Nope! I didn't switch blogs. I've had this one for years. I have so many that even I get confused at times.
It sure was a wonderful feeling to able to say on live radio that I'm tired of people sitting around in their comfy livingrooms complaining about things and waiting for someone else to do something. I did something, and the other four and I are busily plotting fromm up here!
There's a lot more to the story of trip and I hope to get to it over the weekend, foot permitting.

Marge,
The closest I'll ever get to writing a book is this blog.
There's still lots and lots to tell, but I still can't sit here long enough. I hope to start tomorrow.

NO BOOK. I READ 'EM. DON'T WRITE 'EM!
